Early 60's vocal r&b/doowop group from Lackawanna, New York, USA. The El Tempos were Al Bunk Johnson (guitar, lead vocal); Willie Fish Lowe (keyboards); Leroy Brown (drums); and Otis O.T. Toliver (bass) who later played with with Dyke & The Blazers.

You learn something new every day. I always thought that Bunny Wailer had pen this song. I wonder how much truth there is in story, why he didn't go to America for many years because he hadn't been open about the original song writers?

You'd think after 20 years of listening to Reggae, that I would have realised that almost all Reggae is ripped off from US Soul.

This one surprised me.

I'm glad that the truth of the original musicians is out. It won't stop me loving Bunny. He did grate things.

But this is a beautiful track. And I'm so pleased that the Internet allows so many people to have access to the truth of the tunes composition.
