Review by Enzo Marchese

The album Waiting Game by Zoot Sims is a classic jazz album that showcases the saxophonist's immense talent and versatility. Released in 1965, the album features ten tracks that range from ballads to upbeat swing tunes.

Sims' smooth and soulful playing is on full display throughout the album, and he is accompanied by a talented group of musicians, including pianist Dave McKenna, bassist George Tucker, and drummer Dannie Richmond.

One standout track is "I Wish I Knew," a beautiful ballad that highlights Sims' ability to convey emotion through his playing. Another highlight is "The Man I Love," a classic Gershwin tune that Sims and his band infuse with their own unique energy and style.
